The following types of items are available:

• Weapons: what you use to kill enemies.
• Ammo: what your guns should be loaded with.
• Armours: what you use to avoid being killed.
• Consumables: what you use to explore, stay alive, and throw around.
• Artifacts: trinkets with special effects when carried, used, or consumed.
• Keys and keycards: what you use to open doors (the normal way, at least).
• Miscellaneous items: items that don't fit any of the above categories.
